Consultation Fees

Payment is due on the day of the consultation and may be requested in advance for new patients. The consultation fee includes the appointment itself and the provision of a clinic letter and any request forms, prescriptions or referral letters that may be required.

Please note that the consultation fee does not include;

  • Any tests or investigations: will be charged independently by the relevant service.
  • The costs of treatments or medications: will be payable to the pharmacy or service dispensing them.
  • If a specialist opinion is required: then those costs will be separate and payable to that specialist.

Cancellation Charges

  • A cancellation made more than 7 days in advance of the appointment will not attract a cancellation fee.
  • A cancellation made in the last week is liable for a cancellation fee of 50%.
  • A cancellation made in the last 24 hours before an appointment or a late arrival for an appointment or not attending for an appointment without cancellation (DNA) is liable for a full 100% charge.

Cancellation fees are often discounted or waived if an appointment is simply re-scheduled.
